The Pawn America near my house has a 32gb 2nd gen Touch for $180 (USD). I'm wondering if this is a good deal, and if the battery were to crap out in a few months, how much would a repair and replacement cost?
You dish out a bit more money and you'd get an iPod touch 4.

If it's a pawn shop, and you go in with cash, ask what there best price for cash is. You should be able to get it for at least $160, maybe better if you're lucky. That's usually how my pawn shops work, and what I would expect, at least a 10% discount with cash.

Just checked ebay, they go from between $160 to $200-$300 depending on condition. If its in good shape I'd offer them $150 and see what they have to say.
If you can get the serial number run it on apples website and see if it's still under warranty, that way if the battery DOES crap out you can more than likely get it fixed for free

They're pretty much retail, I think prices are non-negotiable but I'll check. 160 would leave me enough to get an itunes giftcard too.
32gb 2nd gen touch for $180? Holy balls, I sold mine last year for $100.
