• Power Button Won't Put Comp To Sleep - Win8

Hey, So I've noticed that lately whenever I press the power button on my case my computer won't go to sleep. I can still go to sleep regularly-through the menu-but the button just flat out refuses to work. There's still the lit ring around the button--indicating that the button is receiving power-but it won't turn my computer into sleep mode. I've checked my power options and it is set to sleep mode on power button activation. Any tips? (I don't think you would specifically need a speccy for this, but if you do just ask me) EDIT: I can confirm that the power button DOES wake the computer up.
You need to read it a story first, duh. No, look int he Power control panel. There should be an option that tells the computer what pressing the power button should do. (suspend, sleep, off or ask what you want to do)

Let me change some settings quick. EDIT: I changed my plan to a custom one and High-Performance but it still doesn't put my computer to sleep mode. (Yes, I double-checked the power options) EDIT2: I've run a powercfg from cmd and it says an audio stream is currently in use. I've, like, triplechecked everything that I have running and I'm certain nothing is playing or paused.
Have you tried going in advanced power settings?
GG, seems to have fixed itself.
