"Pushing the boundaries of what fans have come to expect" Oh you mean nothing new at all?
Futuristic setting looks... interesting... to say the least.
No thanks, Activision.
Obviously going to be a rehash once again.
Will pre-order at local gamestop, would like to maybe get some swag with it, stuff with pre-orders physically is always nice...

But whatever, if mindlessly bashing a game makes you sleep better at night then ok
"Pushing the boundaries of what fans have come to expect" Oh you mean nothing new at all?
Strategy missions, future setting, branching storyline, multiple endings. Nothing new nope.
When I watched the trailer, I was surprised since it did not even look like call of duty, the graphics were better and the gameplay just looked pretty good. I liked black ops multi and single, where as MW3 I only liked the single, multi just didn't play good for me. Ill probably get this game, treyarch at least changes the game. I guess that call of duty future warfare rumor last year or the year before is true.
"Pushing the boundaries of what fans have come to expect" Oh you mean nothing new at all?
dispite popular belief call of duty black ops 2 changes alot http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/122/1224158p1.html
To help diversify the single-player experience, Treyarch's introducing "Strike Force" missions. Rather than just dumping players into another level, having them control someone with an alternate name, and telling them this is "different," Treyarch's breaking new ground for the series. You control a black ops group, choosing from a number of levels based on the threat each presents in the current cold war. Success isn't guaranteed, and if all your operatives die you lose the missions, changing the course of the conflict. You also pick one mission at the cost of others, meaning that you and your friends might not experience the same battlefields. Strike Force missions are even more exciting because of how you play them, though. Each Strike Force mission acts as a small sandbox battlefield, letting you choose the order you complete objectives. Cooler still, you get to choose what units you play as on the fly. Flesh and blood soldiers deploy alongside walking robots and UAVs, and at any given time you can zoom out to an overwatch view of the battlefield, selecting a new unit and then shifting to its perspective. Like some sort of god of war, you can rapidly possess whatever unit suits your needs in the moment. You can also issue orders from the overwatch mode, playing through entire Strike Force missions in a real-time strategy fashion.
So it takes what Rainbow Six did and pushes it further. But LOL obviously nothing new amirite? GOOO BF2143 MAN
Yeah Black Ops 2 changes a lot, please look up all the known facts before claiming that its the exact same game.
Can't wait to start the campaign and watch this new movie.
Why don't they make a movie instead of churning out senseless crap like this? I bet they would make MILLIONS with Captain mactavish In .....3D! PUSHING THE BOUNDARIES STILL!
"Pushing the boundaries of what fans have come to expect" Oh you mean nothing new at all?
I think pushing the boundaries of ridiculousness. Black Ops 2 has horses, robots and zombies.
I'm sorry, but to me it doesn't matter if they change stuff. I'm sure it's good and all, but Activision lost my support long ago.
I think pushing the boundaries of ridiculousness. Ah, with a price like $99.99 it's hard not to say say no.
This is gonna be pretty sweet. Treyarch does great work with the Call of Duty series. WaW was great, Black Ops 1 was decent though, the weapons need more Umph to the sounds, they sound like fucking BB guns.
Havent been interested in a CoD game in a long time, this one looks good and the story campaigns from Modern warfare 1 and 2 were a lot of fun just because of the shit they pulled.
It certainly sounds intriguing, Trayarch has always been to one to go of the loop and do crazy shit and from what I've read they have some fairly nice ideas for this. Apparently choices matter now (notice the fact that you actually get choices). [editline]5th May 2012[/editline] Black ops 1 actually had quite an interesting campaign, the story anyway. The SP gameplay was meh, too much scripted shit jammed in your face all the time basically making it a movie.

I'll probably pre-order about a week before it comes out. I kinda wanna know more info about Black ops 2 before I spend $60 for it. I want my money's worth. I spend $60 on Black ops 1 and got to 2nd prestige and stopped playing. I didn't even bother with mw3. I hope Black ops 2 will be worth my money.
As a former CoD fan, Activision & Activision's devs seriously blow out of proportion their new features. Strike Force, for instance, is probably a lot less unique and open as these early previews seem to suggest.
While this does sound interesting I still have little interest in the game, CoD gunplay bores the hell out of me.
Why are you even in a thread about pre-ordering a CoD game. Or just spam me with dumbs instead of answering a completely legitimate question.
I do wanna pre-order it, but I feel like I should wait until I see more.
Lol what We've seen, what, thirty seconds of gameplay?
