A busy Yorkshire road was closed by police for five hours on Saturday - after a lorry dropped its entire load of instant mashed potato. Moisture caused the instant granules to soon swell up, turning the road into a mashed potato slide, with cars skidding across the surface.
source - http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/mashed-potato-spillage-closes-yorkshire-road-for-five-hours-9554812.html [thumb]https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xpa1/t31.0-8/10507107_10152128377696636_8061929953866476239_o.jpg[/thumb]
The only way this could have been funnier was for a truck filled with gravy to bust itself all over the instant mash too :v:
The only way this could have been funnier was for a truck filled with gravy to bust itself all over the instant mash too :v:
A truck full of roasted turkeys was spotted near the area. A local group has planned a sabotage for said truck.
If I was driving down this road and was warned that "there's excess amount of mash on the road", i'd sit there laughing to fuck while not believing a word of it.
Is that an excessive amount of roadway mashed potato for the UK? Looks about right for here
This is just typical, you have a few millimetres of mash on the road and the government thinks its not safe to drive on.
Good thing they closed it before there was a smash [t]http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-6ofrx47Y10U/TzavvnwJ7pI/AAAAAAAADuY/p3SNzvlulG0/s1600/2.jpg[/t]
I really want to know what kind of donuts and other silly stuff you could do in a parking lot filled with this. How different is it from driving on ice?

"Why were you late to work today?" "Potatoes."
