Okay, so a computer of mines is not detecting a drive. I don't know what happened, I wasn't using it when this problem seemed to have happened. I have no clue how to handle this situation, I'm in dire need of assistance. I've simply shut the computer off for the time being, I have my Steam and other pretty darn important-to-me stuff on this drive.
ANY help will be greatly appreciated.
Right click "My Computer" and click "Manage".
Click on "Drive Management" and tell me if your drive shows up there.
As far as I can tell, no. It doesn't. What does this mean?
Boot into linux and see what can be said about the drive. I also suggest unplugging the drive for at least half an hour and also unplugging your computer and pressing the power button. This routine would usually re-enable my failing drives.
Does BIOS recognize that the drive is there?
If yes: Recoverable
If no: Fucked
1. I unplugged it and held the power button for a good twenty seconds, left it off overnight, nada.
2. I checked BIOS, I can't really tell, but I think it's gone... Fuck.

I guess it's fucked then (Unless anyone has any other possible ways to save it.)
Well, I'm trying to reinstall steam, but when I try to uninstall it, it gives me an error 1327 Invalid Drive D:\, any suggestions?
Nevermind, got it! Now I just need to redownload all of my stuff. :crying:
