• Do I have to turn on and off my mic everytime I play and exit Tf2?

If the mic stays on I have to turn it off or I can hear echoes of my typing and clicking. Then when I turn off the mic I have to turn it on again in order to talk in Tf2. Is there some way I could make my mic turn on when I start Tf2 and turn off when I exit Tf2? Also, are there any good voice changers someone can recommend? (For the hell of it)
Nobody likes voice changers, just enable and disable your microphone via recording options.

Turn off voice loopback from your sound drivers. Or voice playback, whatever it is for you. [editline]1st January 2011[/editline] Goddamn ninjas, how do they work?
narcissist
It just sounds cool when I speak and I hear me. It makes this nice harmonic that sounds cool.

Voice_loopback 1 in console, if you want to hear yourself while ingame.
I like to keep that enabled so I know if my mic is in or not.

If I enable listening to the mic, I'll be able to speak out maybe a word, then I hear myself and I just magically slow the fuck down when it comes to speaking. It's impossible for me to speak normally while I hear myself speak.

Make a youtube video. You will have to sit through the echo, so that way people can hear your voice on youtube.
