Awesome. Looks like some of the issue of finding rocks when you start out will be solved by the "pick-ups". Exactly what I was looking for last week.
Please let some of the mushrooms be magical mushrooms. I'd love to have some new person pick some off the ground, and not pay attention to what they are eating, and all a sudden they end up in a bad trip.
I've gotta say rust is shaping amazingly well

Game is great! this update changed a shit load of things!
The only main 'issue' I have with Rust is when joining a server that has been up for a little while, there is hundreds of old, broken into, bases just sitting around. I don't know if decay is still a thing but it's still pretty disheartening to see so much crap on the horizon

Why is that? I find that it's pretty cool since then I can explore old base ruins and imagine what happened to it and it's owners. It gives the server a sort of history.

Yeah, I agree, especially saying even the biggest servers don't really have building overpopulation issues. I was still able to find multiple decent building spots on a server that hadn't been wiped for 3 months (apparently).

Yeah there is an aspect of that, for me personally I would prefer having a clean landscape to build new buildings on

Not to mention that any open building with a furnace can slingshot a newman from the stone age to the iron age..
Especially now that you can get ores off the ground!
Is Rust worth it now?

Played a few hours recently, I'd say its pretty fun.

It's still heavily in development and a lot of shit dramatically changes but it IS getting there and it IS fun in its current state, if not a bit tough to get started (made easier with this update) and playing solo.
