• Taking caffeine tablets?

Any opinions on taking 100 mg caffeine tablets before working out?
3 things. #1 - Do you know what is inside of it (ingredients)? #2 - Has there been any published medical documentation on the product? Has it been medically tested? #3 - Have you consulted with your doctor to make sure that you aren't putting your cardiovascular system at risk by taking it? Some of those tablets are just a blend of god awful stimulants, and can be quite dangerous if overused, or taken when your body cannot actually handle it.

Don't listen to ryz0, he's high as fuck on steroids. Caffeine tablets are fine, in fact they're a great alternative to stims because they're cheap as hell and give you the energy and focus you need.
I've never found stims to be significantly better than taking 10-20 grams of pure glucose before a work out. Also stims arent viable long term because of tolerance and withdrawl
I've only ever jumped on stims during a time when I was working a full-time job (nightclub) during exam season while still seeing my gf on the reg and going to the gym 5x a week. Most exhausting two months ever. The withdrawal afterward was crazy as well, after taking them for that period of time (even though I only took 2 tabs every 3 days) a large and strong black coffee wouldn't even give me a buzz. I was on proplus (which is arguably reputable as not being the worst), but if anyone else needed to do what I did I'd suggest getting on modafinil as opposed to caffeine tabs.

Why do you need caffeine pills to work out? Drink water beforehand, warmup and ur set. Are you not getting enough z's?

Are you not getting enough z's?[/QUOTE] No I drink plenty of water and I get enough sleep, I've just read that a little caffeine helps you not get as tired during workouts and helps you go the extra mile. Also I do Muay Thai every morning so the extra mile makes a big difference in the fighting world and I tried a 5 hour energy before 2 of my classes and I definitely was able to go further than normal. But 5 hour energies are gross and filled with other shit as well.

I also do Muay Thai in the mornings. I never eat breakfast before it anymore, and I find that's what works best for me. Try looking for a long term solution and not anything short term that won't actually fix what's causing the problem. You should never take caffeine daily anyway.

I struggle to get a feeling from 2 scoops of C4 because I'm somehow stims resistant which is ridiculous and sucks because I want to climb walls too so from experience energy drinks does jack shit to me. A supps shop near me sells Jack3d with the old 1,3 dimeth recipe, I might try that and see if I'm resistant to that too.

If you're still looking for an answer, then yes, they do help out a lot. You probably need more than 100mg, especially if you also drink coffee. Experiment with how much you need to get pumped up, take that much and watch your tolerance. Try not to take it every day and cut coffee out of your life to keep it effective. Take breaks every now and then to drop your tolerance down.
It's safe in proper doses. Try it, if it works, then do it. Just be aware that you can build a tolerance to caffeine, so it may be beneficial to take breaks.
