George was the best conductor.
funny bastard
George Carlin died the day before my birthday. Anyway, I've been recently watching a whole bunch of his routines on Netflix. It's enjoyable to listen to him rant while doing other things.
I remember him from Bill and Ted. Awesome guy.
I honestly did not know he was dead. :smith: What rock have i been living under?
George Carlin was an extremely wise and astute man, he wasn't just a great comedian but he also said some very, very insightful things.

-snip double post-
His comedy is brilliant. I respectfully declare him the second funniest standup comedian behind Louis CK.
What made him so great was that his comedy was not only funny but also very thoughtful.
What made him so great was that his comedy was not only funny but also very thoughtful.
Standup comedians are the philosophers of our time.
I cried the day he died. He's pretty much my favorite person ever and my role model.
I learned about George Carlin a week after he died and after watching all of his stuff I found out he did :(
He died about a month after I really started getting into his work. I stayed in Listening and watching his entire body of work that day.
Big red, white, and blue dick rammed up your ass!
I only found out about George Carlin a few months ago because I live under a fucking boulder, and I loved him, and then I found out he had been dead for two years, it was like if you were 5 and someone handed you your favorite kind of cookie and you bit into it to find out it had been stale for a month or some shit
I have his album Class Clown on vinyl, I laughed more listening to that record then anything else to this day. Everything he did was great and to have such a vocabulary for a 9th grade drop out is undeniable proof that you can accomplish anything if you put your mind to it. All I could think of was *beep* *beep* *beep* *beep* *beep* *beep* *beep*
I found George Carlin June 20th 2008. A YouTube video, "Religion is Bullshit".. That video, really made me think and question religion as a whole. But it also made me want to see more of George Carlin. I remember watching as many YouTube videos of him as I could find; they were all very thoughtful and very funny. George died June 22nd 2008.. I feel a lot more sad now than I did back then. Mainly because I have seen all his HBO specials and other works. Now I can see what a great mind he had and feel very sad because he had passed away only 2 days after I had found him. I really wish I could meet him, or be a bit more realistic watch one of his shows live. I can say without a doubt that George Carlin is my Hero. His work has changed me and my life. Thank you George Carlin for opening my eyes and changing my way of thinking. RIP George Carlin you will be missed :frown:
One of my favorite comedians, RIP.
