• FSX and Crossfire. Conflict?

Sup FP, Don't know if any of you play FlightSim, but whenever I play the game in fullscreen it freezes 15 seconds after the start of my flight (works fine in windowed mode :/ ). In order to use my computer again, I have to do a hard reboot. This problem started happening when I got my SECOND ATI Radeon HD 5770 for Crossfire mode. I tried creating a new partition, installing a fresh install of Windows 7 on that partition and tried FSX. If you need my specs, here they are: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 @ 2.83 GHz Kingston 8GB DDR2 800mhz memory TSSTCorp DVDRW Drive 2x XFX ATI Radeon HD 5770 Asus P5Q Pro Turbo Motherboard OCZ 750W power supply Western Digital 1TB Caviar Black Hard Drive Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Btw, this only happens with FSX. It happened once or twice with Warcraft III. Is anyone having a similar problem? Thanks :3:
PSU not have enough power? Are each of the video cards on their own rail? OCZ's not the greatest PSU company.
Yeah but OCZ is a good enough brand. Should handle two 5770's well. But Shadaez could be right.
Try re-seating each.
Try re-seating each.
I tried reseating and the problem still persists. Btw, I'm sure that it's not a power issue because i played hours of Crysis and other high end games on end and it was just fine. This problem only happens on FSX.
Some games don't like crossfire, you can't do much about it. There should be something in CCC to disable CF on certain programs/games.
FSX doesn't work with crossfire
Thanks for your help
