I got an Xbox One for free, and that's what I would have bought anyways to be honest.
If I had to get one of these consoles, it'd probably be the Xbox One with Kinect. Simply because it's different and does some things that my PC can't. The PS4 is relatively "boring" in that aspect.
However, the Xbox One seems very USA centered if you ask me.
I bought an Xbox One and it was the worst decision I've made.

Lack of games that you want to play, or?

That and the Kinect isn't all that great, but it is better that the original.
The Xbox really doesn't offer much compared to the PS4 except for the HDMI in I guess.

I paid a little over $100 for mine and that still doesn't feel like it was worth for money.

I bought a PS4 and feel like I totally wasted my money so far.
I'm just hoping the library in the future justifies it.
I got a Wii U and didn't really use it until games started trickling in, now I use it regularly.
Then I got a PS4 and it's the same deal, games are finally starting to trickle in.
I have a feeling the same will happen for Xbox One starting with that Halo collection coming out soon. I plan on getting that stuff asap.
