• ShadowPlay not recording any sound - GeForce Experience 3

Ever since the upgrade to GeForce Experience 3, ShadowPlay does not record any sound at all. Is there a fix for this? If not, is there any good alternative for this feature?
What do you use to play the Media? I played it with Windows Media Player and it didn't play any sound but when I put it into Chrome it played normally.

Are you sure the volume isn't just super low? It does that for me most of the time and I have to increase it in Sony Vegas.

I haven't experienced this with Shadowplay myself but I know that some software will get a little funky in terms of your settings on a major update. Maybe it unchecked itself somehow?

I had the same problem with Shadowplay before, you need to find an option somewhere to record audio from all sources, I can't check where it is right now in GFE3 but I'm pretty sure they haven't gotten rid of it
I can't fuckin find that now [editline]13th September 2016[/editline] Try using that "always on" mic setting
It didn't do anything but, i've checked if switching to the Beta version of the GFE would fix the problem and as it turns out, it does.
btw, you probably had "nvidia capture server" (not sure if that's the exact name) turned down to zero from windows mixer. posting if someone else has this problem
Make sure to run in administrator and turn up all volume mixers (worked for me)
