• BSoD and texture artifacts with GPU

Card model/manufacturer: EVGA NVidia GTX 460 Recently, while I was playing Dota, my computer just completely froze and both my monitors lost input, resulting in me having to manually shut it down. After starting back up, I was stuck in an endless loop of blue error screens, crashes, and restarts. Eventually, I went into safe mode, and that's when I noticed that these horizontal blue texture artifacts would appear on brown, gray, and blue solid hues. After deleting all of my NVidia drivers (I had not updated recently; maybe last back in September), I could start up normally again with reduced graphics. I then proceeded to run Windows Update and get the NVidia driver again (358.91), which is now causing my computer to crash again when starting up normally. My computer seems to start up fine and have no artifacts when I am using my old GeForce 9600 GSO. I also checked for any blown capacitors, to which I didn't smell/see any.
