Why?
It looks like fun, reminds me of Raiden, but fucking Dreamcast? A system older than the average user of the Rust forums? Why?

They're still making games for the Atari 2600.
[del]Science[/del]Gaming isn't about "WHY?", it's about "WHY NOT?"

The Dreamcast has a (relatively) massive homebrew scene behind it. I know of another game that is currently being developed for it too.
Anyways, this great news. might pick it up if it isn't as limited release as Last Hope was.

There's actually a semi-active scene for releasing new games on the Dreamcast. Gunlord is another game that came out recently for it.
I don't really understand it though. The controller for the DC is absolute garbage. The only reason the scene exists is because of the dreamcast's lack of any kind of protection. There's no reason they couldn't release for the PC unless they REALLY like playing on a CRT or something.
I've still got my Dreamcast, but I'm not paying $46 for a 2D Sprite shootem up on it
Good, I hope somebody makes Shenmue 3 for it.
What a coincidence that I just pre-ordered Pier Solar for Dreamcast today.
More games have come out for the Dreamcast this year than the Wii U.
