China's No. 1 target is the US, next is India: Bush
MUMBAI: Former US president George W Bush on Tuesday delivered a blunt warning to Indians about the intentions of China. The former president who has courted trouble in the past with his aggressive and overthe-top assertions said China was looking to upstage India."China's No. 1 target is the US, next is India," he told a group of select CEOs at a late dinner meet on Tuesday. Bush, the two-term president whose reign saw a dramatic improvement in Indo-US relations, also said his country's patience with Pakistan was wearing thin, according to one of the participants."If the US had not befriended Pak, Pak would have become more dangerous. But now US patience is wearing off," he said. In the course of a free-wheeling discussion, Bush also touched upon a number of important topics. He cautioned businessmen never to do business with Russia and said the EU would have a completely different look in five years but the euro would stay."If Iran goes after Israel, the US will go after Iran," Bush said, referring to the tense stand-off in the Middle-East over Iran's nuclear weapons programme. "While making history, timing is most important," he added. Those attending the dinner meet included HDFC Chairman Deepak Parekh and ICICI Bank Chairman KV Kamath.Closed-door dinnerRPG promoter Harsh Goenka, GVK group promoter GVK Rao, Bajaj Auto chairman Rahul Bajaj and IIFL promoter Nirmal Jain were also present. "This event was kept a secret because the main condition from George W Bush's office was that there will be no announcements about this engagement and no media coverage given to it.Even the list of guests was kept secret," said a senior executive from ICICI Lombard. The visit was organised ICICI Lombard and Fairfax Financial Holdings, a Torontobased company that owns 26% of the Indian general insurance company, and was attended by their top officials from India and the US.
Too bad your only option is to engage in total war with pakistan (highly unlikely) or keep giving them money so the regime doesn't collapse

Except Iran won't ever go for Israel for precisely this reason. At the same time, the only reason Israel hasn't yet attacked Iran is the possibility of an Iranian and Arab backlash
Fuck you america i dont want a fucking WW3 i want a normal life
Whose side to be on :v:
Whose side to be on :v:
How about nobody?
We should put all the war-mongerers on Jupiter or something and let them fight to their death.
We should put all the war-mongerers on Jupiter or something and let them fight to their death.
We should let Patrick Star push them some where else.
Nobody cares what George Bush thinks, go back to your ranch.
King George should have stayed retired.
We should put all the war-mongerers on Jupiter or something and let them fight to their death.
How would they fight to death on Jupiter? they would just die.
Fuck you america i dont want a fucking WW3 i want a normal life
WW3 is already happening dude Russia is going to invade the US. Don't worry about China man it's the Russians.
How would they fight to death on Jupiter? they would just die.
I think that might just be the point.

How could America possibly cause any of these events?

I'm thinking they will have a part or two in it because they always have to put their fucking noses into someone elses bussiness and stir up shitstains in those countries and act like a fucking world police.
They are giving themselves a horrible image

Pffffthahaha, yeah, sure. It's not like they could just direct their market to elsewhere.

Then India would have the full backing of the US and the conflict would be likely to get far, far worse
People still care about this guy?
Why would you quote TOIlet ?

Where is it that you live? Because I don't feel that a single person I have ever met feels we should be the 'world police'. Lots of people I know would rather bring our guys home and solve things through other means.
Besides, who exactly is the source on this? Obviously the paper that published this article wasn't even allowed in the door. And even if he did say it, what does it matter? Bush isn't that relevant in today's politics.
Why does anyone even listen to that twit Bush?

...Yeah, fuck the world. Bunch of heathens.
I don't listen to George Bush

Another Indian on FacePunch? I thought I was the only one! Hello. :D
Back to the topic, as much as I loathe Bush, I truly hope we (India) don't get involved in any kind of conflict involving the US. We'd be fucked either way.
And as far as TOI are concerned, I think they're at least somewhat reliable. Mid Day is where it's at for me, though.
My God, Mr. President, stop talking!
Please!
Excuse me, ex-president.
Wasn't it said that we owe a western-European country more money than we owe China?
Despite china's mass numbers I think the U.S would easily destroy them. They got more reliable technology for the most part then the Chinese. And smaller numbers have always held larger numbers at bay.
"saddam has weapons of mass destruction" - gwb.
"mission accomplished" - gwb.

Until something new happens and people bash the US for NOT helping
It's always a lose/lose situation
