Why does it always have to be an adaptation of the game, why does no one ever try an original story in the same universe. Surely that would work way better
So.. Is it about a cyborg who punches pedestrians and prostitutes to expose conspiracies?

Because that would be faithful

Best movie of the year of all years.
I'm happy about this, so much pessimism.
Get Elias Toufexis to be Adam Jensen. :v:
Morena Baccarin for Malik

I'd be much more excited for it if the director who is doing it, didn't only do bullshit borderline B-movie popcorn flicks that are terrible
I somehow expected this to get a shit director, although I'm hoping that I'm wrong.
what are you guys on about sinister was a quality film

Hitman would like a word with you.
I feel like a serious part of this movie is going to be the special effects departments. His horror movies are only a step above Paranormal Activity in special effect usage and Day the Earth Stood Still did most of it's special effects without any real human or actor involvement. That's what worries me most right now.
I'll only absolutely hate this movie if they do something "hollywood" to the plot, but I don't see how they could. They can't add a pointless love interest, Adam was already a married man and that's part of the plot. They can't add a stupid sidekick as Adam's stealth side kinda forces him into a lone wolf position, and there is stuff in the plot they can easily remove to fit the 2 hour time frame. I'll be shocked if this turns out as an insult to the source material but not shocked if it turns out to be a dull movie.
EDIT: Actually I think they might try to add someone to Adam's team thinking about it now. In before there's a token black guy given this game's lack of black influence short of those "gangsta" street people with the gold augments.

if that's the case it may as well be a direct to video CGI film made by the developers, that's the only way it would have the feel of a proper installment the series.
Just look at FF7 Advent Children and Resident Evil: Degeneration, made by the people who made the games, all CGI, direct to DVD, and actually does the games justice (who would of thought)
sinister was pretty good by horror movie standards

Maybe they make Malik have a crush on Adam (who wouldn't fall for his gravely voice and cool shades?) and have a rape scene like the one in Super.

maybe Adam's dick is a usb, which he bangs Eliza with by shoving it into the usb-port of the computer powering her.

-unnng, i can't get it in
-have you tried flipping it?
Hahahaha movie adaptation of a game
This movie will be about :
Mr. John Ex Deus finds himself trapped in a country where robotic cereal bars have taken over the world and gain the ability to drive vehicles and crash them into buildings alot
They are going to need to have the same voice actor play as Jensen or at least someone who looks like him.
And Gunman German is a mechanically-enhanced terrorist who seeks to destroy the corporations that produce lemon-lime sodas.

I never asked for this.

Paul Anderson did that with Resident Evil and everybody cries because the movies don't follow the games.

It's not that they don't follow the games, it's that they butcher the games beyond all recognition.
Paul Anderson did that with Resident Evil and everybody cries because the movies don't follow the games.
No, people cried because those movies were not Resident Evil at all.
They were just action movies with RE characters and places slapped on.
I wish movie directors would grow a creative dick. Instead of reusing the old floppy unimaginative, shitty dick that is usually propelled onto the screens to spew out more shit for shitty viewers to watch covered in shit.
I hope they don't fuck it up.. I really really hope it.

He will not move out of the way for his path is of vengeance and oranges

The CGI resident evil films are fucking win.

And through the entire scene, it's just the Windows insert/remove USB noise over and over.
