• What Happens When We Die?

Just thought I'd go all philosophical, feel like working through some of my thoughts about what I think happens after we die. Personally I always thought that when we die, we end up in a big long queue, in somewhere similar to the dole office. Of course the line is never going anywhere because it's a public run office, as opposed to private. So the remainder of existence is spent in pretty much the same spot, looking around and complaining about how the line is not going anywhere. Must remember to bring a book. So people, what are your thoughts on the beginning of the end? Or should that be the end of the end. http://adf.ly/1Bnk
You get reincarnated as a fairy.
We Don't Fucking Know Deal with it.
When you die you become a ghost and appear in crazy people's houses when they sleep.
You'll get cremated. Personally, I hope for something to be after this. But since I'm pretty much a logical guy, I generally stick to facts, and there are none about 'the afterlife' (sadly enough).
I'm waiting for someone to post "It's like before you were born..."
Well, for one our bodies are recycled and turned into dirt, so we could be converted into another living thing over time. Other than that, who knows?
i came to conclusion that before we are born we are actually dead, or better yet "non-existing". it's pretty obvious. if we are able to make that first transition from being nothing to being alive i see no reason why it shouldn't happen again once we die. edit: Livewire123 beat me to it, in his own way ;P
You go to Heaven :iia:
Do you remember before you were born? That's what it's like.
So... Many...... Threads...... About this shit :bang:

We are gone. We will have no idea of time or space, and will never be reincarnated or go to heaven.

We're coming from combined cells (simply said). I like where you're going, though.

Nothing happens, no heaven or afterlife, thats stupid and could never be true, although it feels good to believe it. Consciously, its not like a dream or anything because your brain is no longer sending signals.
:iiam:
I heard that when someone dies, 2 or 3KG weight leave there body, could that be there spirit/soul?
What the fuck? No. It's just as much as 3 grams or so which could aswell be air leaving the lung.
You cease to exist. No afterlife bulllshit.
Is it normal that I'm afraid to die?
Chill with a bud. True, True.
What the fuck? No. It's just as much as 3 grams or so which could aswell be air leaving the lung.
My dad's friend is a doctor, he told me a few grams w/e leave the body once someone dies.

Don't turn this into a spiritual shitstorm. Decomposition will turn organic materials into gasses such as methane. If someone died in a box that had no holes which any matter could escape, they would not weigh less even after 100 years because all of the matter is still contained within that box.
What the fuck? No. It's just as much as 3 grams or so which could aswell be air leaving the lung.
And you lose control of urine and/or bowels so it could be your shit.

Animals did not lose weight. Essence, soul, you guess.
You come to a state where you are no longer living.
