Need serious help with a crime problem in my neighborhood

I'll try to keep this short - it is fast threads - but a little background would help. I live in an average rural town in the American South, a lower-middle-class place. It's not the richest place ever, but it doesn't exactly look impoverished from the outside, and it might even be called idyllic by the casual observer. I personally live in a decent quality (but old as hell) rented house in the middle of town with my parents (moving out when I finish my 2 year degree). On the back of this house is a small apartment building. About a week ago, the landlord told us that someone was moving into this apartment and that this person was someone he'd known for years and thought to be alright. It turned out to be two people, actually - a husband and wife. I've personally never met them, but apparently my parents have. One of their two sons, a known drug user, recently died, found naked in the middle of the road, run over.
Now, ever since they moved in, there have been crowds of people lining up along the street and in our backyard to come to this apartment. At first, we thought it was normal, because the couple is grieving and they are apparently well known among their fellow church-goers. However, today confirmed our suspicions. Today, my step-father and I pulled into our yard and were greeted by the sight of about ten cars lined up on the side of the street. The couple's living son (he's at least 18 I think) was outside. We clearly saw what he was doing - selling cocaine and taking money like it's a drive-through restaurant. It was over in under three minutes.
I was (and still am) pretty pissed. I and my parents moved out of a poor neighborhood two years ago to get away from being surrounded by the "smoke weed erryday" types, and now it has come back to us. My step-father was reluctant to do anything, but I insisted they do something, and my mother called the landlord to report the activity. Now see, here's the thing: our house is literally just down the street from the police department. The police in town are almost unanimously a bunch of corrupt assholes who do drugs themselves, and they never even both to patrol this area. The landlord doesn't much give a shit, either - he's a fat, rich prick who lives on the lake.
What can I do? The people involved are all sorts of degenerates, including gang members, and the local police won't do a thing.
Thats not right man, selling drugs is one thing but getting your kids to do it, thats fucked up. There must be some form of police or something that isn't corrupt right?
Take the justice into your own hands and deliver a lot of one-liners!
I don't live in America but isn't there some way to contact the State police rather than the local authorities? This is class A drug dealing after all and the State is less likely to be as corrupt I guess.
Just a thought.
Call the bat man

Just record them on camera selling, call the police and show them the videos they'll have no choice but to launch an investigation if they see them on camera doing it

Two options:
1. Contact the Drug Enforcement Agency
They are a federal agency. They specialize in conducting investigations into the forbidden purchase, sale or trade of illegal or controlled drugs.
-Gather as much information as you can such as address (exact address), names (avoid nicknames), and other further details. DO NOT PUT YOURSELF INTO DANGER. Simply observe and gather whatever you can.
- Lookup your local DEA office using the DEA.gov website and show up at your local office to submit a report.
Depending upon the amount of info you have you may have to speak with a DEA agent (or you can try requesting to speak with an agent.) They may also ask you to fill out a form. It is important that you are as truthful as possible when speaking with a federal agent. Be sure to bring up your concerns about the local police force, as this could result in multiple investigations.
If this is not an option, or you feel uncomfortable doing a walk-in, call your local DEA office and leave an anonymous tip. DEA agents do follow these tips, and they are not ignored. Call from a public phone or another phone that is not yours, if you are that concerned about your identity.
You may also submit a tip online via the DEA.gov site.
2. Contact your State Police
Generally, State Police are a lot more professional and reliable than local police.
Because I do not know what state you live in, I cannot give you more information.
Just do some online research, and find out if your State Police has an anti-corruption task force.
State police have barracks and offices all over your state.

This might be farfetched, but maybe he's getting some nice kickbacks from your neighbors. It sounds like they are making a hefty profit.

Police.
Yo kirby, learn to read. The police won't do jack shit. As for OP, get a motherfucking gun. .38 should do the trick. Just chase em away from your neighborhood, and if the pigs think you're being a jackass, record them and report them to a higher authority for being corrupt.

Yeah, don't do this. My normal solution to anything is get gun, shoot problem, but... If they're ballsy enough to openly sell cocaine like that, they're prolly packing a lot more than you could ever wish to carry.

that or they've got the entire local PD in their pocket
i find it a little hard to believe the entire police department is on drugs, but, you can call the FBI or the DEA, or there could be an investigation already in progress and they are just in the process of building a case. FP is not the place to get security advice though
