Sony Vegas Pro 10.0 suddenly won't open previously working .wav audio files.

Hi there,
So here's my problem. I'm working on a GMod machinima and I was using some voice files from Portal 2, specifically Wheatley's voice files. They are mono .wav files. The files were working perfectly fine, but I was working on the project then suddenly, I couldn't import anymore of the files, and the audio files I was using stopped working. I didn't uninstall any codecs, I didn't change anything at all, I was just working on the project and suddenly, it all stopped. When I tried reloading the project, it would say the files are offline, as if they had been moved or deleted. I checked, and they were all there. Here's the error I get when I try to import one:
"An error occurred when trying to open one or more files. The reason for this error could not be determined."
I thought maybe they were corrupted, so I tried re-extracting the sounds from their original directory. Still didn't work.
So, in short, Vegas has decided to screw with me out of nowhere. Any ideas?
If it reads them as offline, rightclick on the file in the project media panel and try re-finding it.
If it still won't read it as online, try loading a new blank project and see if it reads them. If so, go back into the old project, delete all the .sfk files (I think they are .sfk) and see if it re-initialized the waveforms.
It's an odd problem, but I've been using Vegas for years so normally I know how to fix most problems with it.

Tried all of that, sadly to no avail. :C
