The theft of Half-Life 2's source code was called "easy" by the man responsible. Newell's ploy mimicks the one used by LifeLock, a security company that published its CEO's social security number in advertising. The guy's identity has been stolen at least thirteen times since the ad campaign." This is going to end hilariously.
It's not his real account v:v:v
I don't know what to say about this one.
This just in: Episode 3 Source code leaked.
I hacked him and i'm right now playing Episode 3.
If anyone gets in, it's going to greet them with a message, then boot them out. Maybe they'll win some gifts. Gabes prepared for that eventuality, he'll have something set up to confound them.
This really can't be smart.
I have a feeling that won't end well once hackers finds exploits in the system.
That's a shitty password.
Gabe is my hero :3:
I thought he'd been losing weight. He didn't look any skinnier in that video :frown:
No avatar, no games: His real account is Rabscuttle
its not his REAL account, guys holy ninja!
That's a shitty password.
Not really, most people have passwords like their dog's name or something. He has capital letters and stuff, you can't just guess a password like that. Numbers, Symbols and no actual words being part of it would be the best choice for someone such as Gabe but by almost all standards it's at least decent.
He should have put every game on steam on that account to make it seem legit and tempting. [editline]4th March 2011[/editline] It's not like he has to pay for them all to do that. v:v:v
No avatar, no games: [img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8252159/meh.png[/img_thumb] His real account is Rabscuttle
As far as I know you can't get someone's actual account name unless they give it to you. Friends name, account name, and community URL are all different things.
The password should've been 12345. With an avatar of Dark Helmet.
1. Challenge hackers to break the system. 2. Hire the successful hackers. 3. Improve the system. Pretty solid idea Gabe.
Big bad gabe original thug nerd.
Nothing is going to happen. It's not even possible for confidential information to be leaked; all of Valve's hidden stuff is on an internal build of Steam.
No avatar, no games: [img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8252159/meh.png[/img_thumb] His real account is Rabscuttle
I think that this might be the way it protects. It logs you in, but no games, no steam friends access.

They're gonna hack into his account and find nothing BUT an episode 3 trailer.
