As the title says, WMM refuses to export my project as a .WMV
I spent the last two days throwing together this simple little video, and when I go to export, I get this error:
Big Picture of the "Make sure you have space, and all the clips used, to save" error
Well, I obviously have more than enough space, seeing as the movie is 65mb, and I have around 700gb free. I know all the clips are available, because I just played the entire movie in the movie preview of WMM, and I know that the location is available, because its the root folder where I stored all the clips used in making it!
Why does it hate me so? :saddowns:

Well, I haven't been able to figure out the problem, but I have managed a solution.
By having Fraps record the entirety of the video as it plays in the preview box, I've been able to effectively export it without exporting it. And the quality is surprisingly very good, without the video being extremely massive (its only 911MB, the full video).
I'd still like to know why I have to record it with Fraps, though... :geno:
What about Live Movie Maker?
What about Live Movie Maker?
Gonna assume that comes with Windows 7 or something? Because I have XP, and I've never heard of Live Movie Maker before. Unless, of course, it's a third-party app or something - and even so, I still haven't heard of it. :v:
It's the latest version. I don't know if it works on XP though: http://download.live.com/moviemaker
Nope. It's Vista/7 only.
Windows Live Movie Maker is actually really bad. I think if you just want to make a photo slideshow, It's awesome, but for any real video editing, it's a failure.
To be honest, get a real editing package, such as the cheaper version of Sony Vegas, Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum, Adobe Premiere Elements or Cyberlink Power Director 8. I recommend Sony Vegas or Adobe.
