• Monitor will "go to sleep" permanently while playing games.

So, in a nutshell, while playing games other then source games, about 15 min. in (sometimes less) my monitor will just say "monitor is going to sleep" then won't turn back on. The only way to "wake it back up" is to restart my computer. Is there any way to fix this? I can give you my specs and shit if you need it.
I had essentially exactly the same problem, since today. I have an ATi HD RADEON 4890, I wonder if there's any relation...
My sister had the same problem long time ago. The problem there was that the power (electricity) was not enough. To many things on the same spot.
Hm, well I don't think we have much. As far as I can tell, all I have on a cord is... Printer, Monitor, Camera dock, and computer.
Then that should not be a problem. I have speakers 2 monitors TV computer router and a lamp in the same and all runs fine How is the drivers on the graphic card? Up to date?
Is your PSU up to snuff? Did you recently install a new GPU?
Could be graphics drivers, I have a dual screen setup, and when the driver fails I usually get the monitors not getting and input and going to sleep. Could also be insufficient power from your PSU like stated earlier though.
Well I'll update it tomorrow morning. Hopefully that will work.
