This was the best Halloween ever.
So tonight we decorated our porch, with spiderwebs, fake blood and such. But that wasn't the real attraction. You see I dressed in a black cloak and my Jigsaw mask and I sat on the porch, pretending to be a puppet/dummy with the candy bowl in my lap. So here at the victims in no certain order.
Asian Family-
Who got scared: Mom
Who else was there: Dad, Two Children
What happened: So they all came up, the children claimed to be too scared and the dad told his wife to go up. Very manly, huh? So they're just commenting about how scary I am and trying to get me to crack by saying "Hellooo!", noting the fake knife and blood etc. Then when the mom comes up and bends over to take candy, I jerk my head suddenly towards the dad and children, they all scream "IT MOVED! OMG! IT MOVED!" The mom looks confused and laughs. Then she steps back and looks at me, then I jerk my head right at her and she screams and jumps back. The dad then convinces everyone that it's a "motor". They pass our house a lot during the night and I always follow them and i can hear the kids screaming "HES LOOKING AT US!"
Ebony And Ivory-
Who got scared: Two kids dressed in white and black
Who else was there: Parents standing back a ways
What happened: This was the best one. So the group is walking towards our house and I hear the kid in white saying "THATS A SAW MASK! YOU KNOW WHAT SAW IS?! ITS FRIKIN SCARY!" So the parents stand back and the little white kid (not racist) walks up and puts his face like one foot from mine and reaches into the candy bowl. As he does so I take on the voice of a raspy demented old man and say "I wanna play a game." The kid promptly screams bloody murder, grasps his Eminems (pun intended) and sprints away. The kid in black is too skittish to get candy.
Princess And Knight-
Who got scared: Little girl
Who else was there: Little boy and parents
What happened: So the little girl and boy dressed as a princess and knight respectively come up. The boy stands back warily and the girl comes up. My head is faced away from them, so when the girl is looking at me I jerk my head towards her. She jumps back and her eyes are wide! "_little boy's name_ IT MOVED! IT MOVED!" And she runs back to the safety of her parents while the little boy lingers for awhile, thinking about getting candy, but decides not to.
Axeman-
Who got scared: Kid around my age
Who else was there: Parents
What happened: This one was dead simple. The kid dressed as an axeman walks up to me no hesitation, probably thinking I'm a puppet and when he gets about three feet away I jerk my head towards him instantly and raise my hand as if I'm going to grab him. He takes on the obvious reaction and jumps back and scream. I laugh and tell him "Heh, go on and get some candy. Seriously." The kid laughs and leaves
Old Man-
Who got scared: Granddad
Who else was there: Parents and little girl/boy(?) (Couldn't tell due to darkness)
What happened: They all walk up, not questioning my appearance and the kid says he's too scared. So the grandfather walks up and tries to take candy. I do the same action as I did on the Axeman and he jumps back and pulls the old man yell "Aaauugghhahh!" and he laughs. We exchange "happy halloweens" and he gets candy for the child and leaves
That's all I scared. Plenty more came to our house but I deemed them too young to scare or they didn't come up close enough. Honorable mentions: A little girl who was about 4 and claimed I was too scary and didn't even come down the walkway. A small girl (too far away to guess age) closed her eyes passing our house, scared.
There was also one time where they got the best of me. There was a huge group of little kids, so I didn't want to scare them. The parents all came up and figured me out pretty quick, I didn't let up that I was actually human so they were actually uncertain.
That's how I spent my Halloween. It was awesome.
TLDR; I scared people by pretending to be a stuffed puppet/dummy.
That is such an old joke.
Everyone does that, I can't believe people still fall for it.

Why do all of them have parents? Somebody your age was with their parents? Are you 8?
Why do all of them have parents? Somebody your age was with their parents? Are you 8?
No. There's just a lot of little kids in my neighborhood, everyone my age doesn't trick or treat anymore silly.
Also around my age != at my age
Around = 3-4 years. He was like 13 or 14.

I wish my old dialup sustained a connection longer than 5 hours to actually finish downloads.
I gave out candy, did homework, played some games, and watched mythbusters.
What a crap halloween.

That was never an issue for me. Resumable download managers have existed for a very long time
What a great read, thanks for the laughs.
Here at my country people don't celebrate Halloween so I spent mine watching horror movies and playing TF2. meh
