If it's less than $300 this thing is gonna beat the iPad
I thought it literally meant you put your palm on it, and it charged itself.
Meh, I believe Android is better.
HP is putting its the web operating system front and centre of new products
Meh, I believe Android is better.
Without reading into the webOS, how could you know? Just wait and see! Although I seriously have my doubts as to these devices or their OS doing anything new, and I don't suspect they will be an overall better product that most mainstream droid devices. The only thing that these might do better is allow for greater consistency. These devices will always be supported by one company that will (hopefully) continue to keep them all updated to the same OS version that will always work correctly! Although this is what Apple does, Apple goes too far and forces their users to follow strict guidelines without any freedom (i.e. app approval, not open source). tl;dr not enough info yet. inb4 fanboy shitstorm
I do like my iPad though.
WebOS, OS palm phones used before HP bought Palm. From what I've seen and read on the Pre, I'm interested to try and see how well they work. With my uber HD2 phone I've been able to try WM6.5, Android and WP7, wonder can I get WebOS too!
I think HP is late in the ball game. Predicting moderate failure.
Palm is still around? Wow, thought it completely dissipated by now.
They aren't, they're owned by HP because they had no sales of the Pre.
If it's less than $300 this thing is gonna beat the iPad
These tablets are easily better than the iPad (webOS is lovely and the hardware is fantastic, only thing they haven't got going for them is the amount of app developers android and ios have). And they might even be cheaper too. But they won't beat the iPad. You can't get more sales than an apple product, people will see your product and an apple product and immediately go for the apple product because of the apple logo. Still, maybe this'll be moderately successful, unlike the pre which 3 people bought.
