Is it possible to do a crossfire with a HD4890 and one of the new HD5XXX??
If its possible i'm gonna wait for the new cards, if not I will just buy another 4890 now..
No.
You can allways crossfire a 9800GT your 4890
You didnt answer, is it possible to crossfire a 4890 with a 5870?
Second post answered your question.
Okay......... whatever.... I'm gonna get a new 4890, but I dont know if it fits....
Take a look at this Picture: [img_thumb]http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/6783/img1822o.jpg[/img_thumb]
I dont know.. why a mini ATX mobo?
When i bought the mobo i didnt notice it was a Mini ATX....
but you didnt answer me, do you think that a new Video Card fits? There is like 1 or 2 mm space between the actual one and the next PCI slot
ok, I thanks for that advice....
so I should get a 4890 with a thinner cooler and put that card on the top as master... and then my Vapor-X s teh bottom card...
Thank alot for the nice idea..
So this isnt a problem that only mini.atx mobos have, cause the crossfire bridges are at a set lenght, right?
EDIT: I mean, on full ATX motherboards, have the PCI slots more distance between them?
EDIT2: Arent the toxic cards Vapor-X aswell?

Get a card with stock type cooler at put it in the master pci express slot and your current card in the bottom pci express slot.
And the crossfire bridges are flexible.

Both of them doesn't have the stock ATI cooler :/
They don't force the "exhaust" hot air out of your case.

This one got the stock cooler, but it seems like it's out of stock or something

Oh thanks, out of stock doesent really matter... The owner of that shop is a friend of mine, he can get me that card without problems...
and what do you mean by "They dont force the exhaust hot air out of your case"?
Only with the normal vapor-x models. The toxic version has 2 fans (and 2 vapor-x modules) and it is forcing most of the air out of the case.
http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa72/Satane123/vaporx.png
As you see... vapor-x is simply recycling hot air.
Exactly what i meant :haw:
Ohh yea... Thanks a lot for that picture, i think without it u would have had a hard time to explain me that.....
Is 160€ a good deal for a Sapphire 4890.. basic stock cooled version?
You can Crossfire any ATI card with any ATI card from the same generation. Example: you can stick a 4870 with a 4630, but you can't stick a 4870 with a 3870. That's one of the reasons I like Crossfire better than SLI, it's much more flexible.

Thanks for the answer.... I didn't know that it is different with nVidia
Do both cards need to have the same clock? I mean, if one is fabric-overclocked, do I need to overclock the other to the same values?
