My friend is building a pc and was wondering if these parts would be fine to run most modern games. Suggest any changes. Budget is 700-800 ADATA XPG SX900 ASX900S3-128GM-C 2.5 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) Seasonic M12II 520 BRONZE Power Supply MSI GeForce GTX560 Ti 1 GB DDR5 2DVI/Mini HDMI PCI-Express Video Card N560GTX TI TWIN FROZR II OC Seagate Barracuda 7200 1 TB 7200RPM SATA 6 Gb/s NCQ 64MB Cache 3.5-Inch Internal Bare Drive ST1000DM003 Cooler Master HAF 912 Mid Tower Computer Case (RC-912-KKN1) Asus 24xDVD-RW Serial ATA Internal OEM Drive DRW-24B1ST (Black) ADATA Gaming Series DDR3 1600Mhz 8 GB Kit 2 x 4 GB CL9 Desktop Memory AX3U1600GC4G9-2G MSI AM3 USB 3.0 + SATA 6Gb/s 890GX Chipset AMD Motherboard 890GXM-G65 AMD Phenom II X4 965 AM3 3.4Ghz 512KB 45NM 125W 4000MHZ
Everything looks nice but you could get a z77 and an i3 istead and upgrade to an i5 later on. Also a GTX 570 is $250 on newegg.
What's the reason for using Amazon?
I'd go for something slightly more powerful than a 520W PSU. 750W ones aren't much more expensive and will future proof the rig. [editline]14th August 2012[/editline] This one is good.
