I'm trying to install Win7 7100 onto my friend's computer, but this shit keeps popping up.

I've trying everything; googling, seaching inside the computer, downloading countless files, but NOTHING will work. This computer is from 2004, but I've seen Win7 on even older computers, so why won't it install. Here are the computer's shitty specs:

Are you running it from a burned disk?
try burning the disk at a slower speed.

Yes.
try burning the disk at a slower speed.
I burned it at 1x, the lowest speed. Plus, I used a Maxell DVD, so the quality of the disc isn't the problem.
is the iso corrupted/damaged?
Why can't people ask in the megathread? That is what it's there for.

Because the megathread should be used to discuss the OS, new changes, removed features, etc., not fix technical problems. One could argue he's not in the right section.
The load driver dialog doesn't pop up unless you tell it to.
Or if your hardware is just downright horrible.
It shouldn't be compadibility issues, I'm running windows 7 on a computer shittier than yours right now.
Kind of ironic that it needs a CD/DVD driver when it's running off a DVD.
I'm getting this problem too. Try the 32-bit version or try using a different PC, it doesn't have the driver for you optical drive controllers and it doesn't accept yours. You could even try a different DVD drive or booting off a USB to Sata controller attached to a DVD drive.
I'm running it in virtual PC, not as good, but I get to use it a bit.
