so i'm getting a new computer, and i'm wondering if this is good (in a $850 or so budget) http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=28052286
Do you want to keep it open for sli potential?
Well this can be actualy good, just one thing about it : I'd prefer a Core I7 (maybe also take 3.7Ghz instead of 3.2) it works better when you've some algorythms/games that uses much the CPU. EDIT : I mylself like the GTX 960, however that was too expensive for me... I spent 500€ on my CPU (Core I7 3.7 Ghz, 4 hearths, 8 threads).
kiwi, is a EVGA psu any better?
Do you want to keep it open for sli potential?
prolly not, i don't think i will ever use 2 GPUs
With that in mind, Kiwi's two suggestions above are great places to start.

That's a massive waste of money and you probably wont notice the difference with a 200€ i5
thread closed, i took you guys' and others' suggestions in mind and ordered the parts
You mean: "I ignored all advice and went with your own idea"
Every fucking time.
You have almost the exact PC i built 2 years ago, just updated models. Id say thats a good build.
I can account for CX PSUs being kinda rubbish. I have a CX600 and my 970 constantly crashes because of it.
You mean: "I ignored all advice and went with your own idea"
excuse you? i did take other peoples' advice and ended up ordering the parts. i didn't order just what i put up on the op
excuse you? i did take other peoples' advice and ended up ordering the parts. i didn't order just what i put up on the op
What did you order?
http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=28052286 i mean, i didn't change too much but i still considered people's suggestions
