On Friday Redskins coach Jay Gruden said Hall re-tore his Achilles while in his kitchen getting pizza.
SOURCE Now the pizza is cold and nobody got to eat it, it's a sad day for us all.

Fuck. I thought if you fuck up your Achilles you can be fucked for life athletically? It's a good thing he's recovering, at least they got a great victory from the Cowboys away game.

I had a bad ankle injury once. In rehab there was another guy with a similar injury. We were both told to keep our weight off the ankles. Well, I saw that guy take steps putting his full weight on that ankle, it's very inconvenient walking on one foot so he said fuck it. Anyways, when I was done with my rehab he was more screwed up than when he started. I don't know if this player was ignoring instructions but it would explain how something like this might happen.
what a shitty thing to have to deal with this kinda reminds me of the kevin ware injury

That's how I broke my ankle a few years ago. Just takes a little slip and you're wrecking your ankle. One was a player busting a bone out of his skin on a basketball court; the other tearing an Achilles getting pizza. Very different.
I do have sympathy for this guy actually. Tearing an Achilles tendon or really injuring it in any way feels like getting shot in the back of the leg.
Reminds me of the player last year who broke his hand stopping his pizza from sliding at a stop sign
that's what y'all get for not changing the name
that's what y'all get for not changing the name
not even hitler deserves what this man has gone through have some sympathy
Reminds me of the player last year who broke his hand stopping his pizza from sliding at a stop sign
How does that even happen.
How does that even happen.
Wrecked trying to grab the pizza box after it fell off his seat. Best part was 2 months later he caught a TD pass and celebrated by doing a pizza delivery celebration.
