I plan on attending CSU Northridge in the fall of 2010, if all goes well. Just wondering if anyone on FP goes there and could offer anything about the university? The plan for me would be to attend CSU Northridge for 2 years and then transfer to UCI and go for a Major in Game Science while developing a portfolio to get a job in game development.
Make sure you make good games, not shit 5hr ones that cost 60$

Think about this first. Game design may be really appealing to you, but you can't do anything else with your degree if you go through with that. In this economic climate, a computer science degree, which has a variety of applications, is more useful than a degree that only has one.
I am about %100 sure what I want to do. I enjoy it, and I am good at what aspects of it I've tried already. And I will get a minor degree in something else along the way anyways.
