• Building my first PC for my birthday! (need help with parts)

I've wanted to build my own PC for a while and after saving up a bit of money (currently at £200) it's possible for me to get one for my birthday (Feb 10th). What I am looking for is a PC that is able to play games at mid to max settings, I know with my price range (which is £300-£400) I'm not going to get the best gaming PC ever but I want one that's atleast able to play new games at mid settings and then I can slowly upgrade later on. I've attempted to plan out my own build but I think it would be best to ask you guys anyway since I have not the slightest clue on wether things will work together or not and stuff like that. Heres the build I have so far: Processor = Intel Core i5 2400 3.1GHz (Sandy Bridge) Socket LGA1155 = £149 Graphis Card = Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 6570 1024MB GDDR3 = £60 RAM = Novatech 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C9 1333MHz Dual Channel Kit = £19 Motherboard = Intel DH67BL Intel H67 (Socket 1155) Motherboard - OEM = £65 Hard Drive = Seagate Barracuda 500GB 16MB Cache Hard Drive SATA 6GB/s 8.5ms 7200rpm = £69 Case = Novatech Galaxy III Case With 450w PSU = £33 TOTAL = £395 I'm happy with that price to be honest, but if there is any improvements that can be made please tell me, and heck if you have a completely different build (within the £300-£400 price range) then I would love to know :) ALSO Are all these parts compatible? I know the Processor and the Motherboard all, thats all I know though :( EDIT: Also is there anything else I need? (besides monitor, keyboard and mouse)
go with an i3 2100 and upgrade to a 2500k once you can afford it, I don't see any powersupply, but if you don't need one, then

What power supply do you recomend for this? EDIT: Unless I used the Novatech Galaxy III Case With 450w PSU instead of your suggestion? Would that work? Heres the link to the case: http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/components/cases/cases/galaxy3.html
the case is shit and the PSU is a bomb http://www.dabs.com/products/xfx-450-watt-core-edition-single-rail-psu-w--full-wired-cables-7NSV.html?src=15 [editline]5th January 2012[/editline] and a more up to date case than the 334 http://www.ebuyer.com/289021-bitfenix-merc-alpha-case-bfc-mrc-100-kkx1-rp
OK so this is my new build: Processor: Intel Core i3 2100 3.10GHz - http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004FA8NPK/ref=asc_df_B004FA8NPK5970592?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&tag=googlecouk06-21&linkCode=asn&creative=22206&creativeASIN=B004FA8NPK £89 Graphics Card (GPU): Saphire HD 6850 - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sapphire-11180-00-40R-6850-GDDR5-Graphics/dp/B0047D5S26 £115 RAM: G-Skill 4GB (2x2GB) - http://www.ebuyer.com/264748-g-skill-4gb-2x2gb-ddr3-1600mhz-ripjawsx-memory-module-cl9-9-9-9-24-1-5v-f3-12800cl9d-4gbxl?utm_source=google&utm_medium=products £23 Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-P67A-D3-B3 Intel P67 - http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/components/motherboards/intel1155p67chipsetmotherboards/Gigabyte/GA-P67A-D3-B3.html#utm_source=google&utm_medium=base&utm_campaign=products £78 Hard Drive: Seagate 500GB - http://www.ebuyer.com/272944-seagate-500gb-3-5-sata-iii-6gb-s-barracuda-hard-drive-7200rpm-16mb-cache-st500dm002 £64 Case: Bitfenix Merc Alpha Case - http://www.ebuyer.com/289021-bitfenix-merc-alpha-case-bfc-mrc-100-kkx1-rp £33 Power Supply: XFX 450w Core Edition - http://www.dabs.com/products/xfx-450-watt-core-edition-single-rail-psu-w--full-wired-cables-7NSV.html?src=15 £40 TOTAL = £442 Is this better? And will it all work together? EDIT: Also does the case have enough room for upgrades later on? And Is there a Hard Drive I can get that is about half the price of the current one I have? If I do get a cheaper alternative to the Hard Drive how will that effect gaiming? (I have a 1TB external hard drive so loss in memory wont be too bad) Sorry for all these questions that are probably really obvious, I'm a n00b :P

Not sure on what wattage the card takes though, not really of my knowledge.
