she was raised as an indoor cat for the first 14 months of her life but she's always had a fascination with going outside, and she often would wait at the door meowing loudly until i opened it so she could see walk around my front yard for a few minutes before i took her back in
well today one of my brothers let her out and she went off like a bullet and i've been looking for her for two hours and i cant find her anywhere
im really sad but i dont know what to do as far as lost pet posters or who to contact to report it
pls give me advice
If you love it, let it go~
Eventually it'll come back.
Don't worry, my cat is the same.
Lil Bugger always comes back.
if its not back in tomorrow then put up posters and shit so other people can find the cat
Cats tend to come back sooner or later, but I'd hang up posters in your area with a picture of the cat and your phonenumber just to be sure. When you get her back, might be worth going to the vet and getting her a gps tracker (at least I know that's possible here in the Netherlands, dunno about the US).
Your cat is probably nearby.
Once with one of my cats, I opened the back door and he sneaked out with the dogs. He didn't leave the yard before wanting back in. I stepped out onto the back deck and called for him. He meowed until I could see him, under the deck. After some coaxing I got him in the house.
The second time a cat got out she didn't go far before coming back.
Before then we just had a cat that just liked to go outside for an hour or so a month.
I heard leaving things out with your scent on them may help them find their way back. (works for dogs and the like)
But that would be weird, throwing your clothes all over the neighborhood. Do it anyway
She will be back. My cat who I thought had ran away was actually in the basement.
you two should have eloped together.

Or may be just create a long shit thread,
Don't worry she will come back probably. My cat ran away for 3 years turns out she was living a couple of blocks away and moved back into our house when her sister died. Guess cats have sibling rivalries too.....
hallelujah i found her
she was alllllll the way down the fuckin road and she was following this other black cat like they were friends
i feel really sad having to take her back because her one and only venture away from my house resulted in a new friend being lost right after being made :--(
At least you found her. Nice one
Heh, I let out my cat outside every day after the first time she ran off.
