Some strange shit's going on in my computer. I need your help to find out what.

So around December?/January?, my computer caught the Antivirus 2010 virus, and well, to say the least, I blew that thing to Hell. After getting rid of this virus though, I've been very paranoid with my computer, even the smallest odd sight would cause me to run all of my anti virus programs at the same time, and nothing would ever come up. Now recently, things have just been going to Hell. Here are some of my symptoms.
- Leave my PC on to find it turned off the next day.
- Lots and lots of Windows errors. Here are a few
- 10 AntiMalware Service Executable crashes TODAY!!! 37 total since the 14th
- Most of my default settings were gone. Wallpaper was gone. Firefox wasn't the default browser
- Host Process for Windows Services has stopped working a few times on start up. Hasn't happened recently though.
- Superfetch has stopped working (Today). What the hell is this shit?
- Was getting some sort of weird Java thing that was causing Firefox to crash. I suspect it was some sort of virus. I deleted my Temp folder and Firefox was working fine again.
Now the thing I find most disturbing is that I haven't downloaded any sort of warez, nor have I been to any risky sites (besides spankwire/tube8/etc.). I've run all of my scanners countless times (MalwareBytes, AVG, Ad-Aware, Security Essentials), and nothing ever comes up. Not even a simple Trojan.
These things are making me very upset, and I'm very confused to where these problems are coming from. I'm starting to think that it may be a hardware thing. If you've got anything that might help, please thell me.
I suggest a fresh Windows installation, it will also give a more secure feeling (If i would have found a virus like the Antivirus 2010 one i'd format immediately).
Unless you want to keep the current OS for whatever reason, if so i have no idea where this comes from.

By the way SuperFetch is a Windows service that reserves RAM for faster access if i remember correctly.
Back up some installers for your Antivirus and Firewall etc
Clean install windows, install all of your stuff before going anywhere on the web.
reformat is a good option, or try running them in safemode
Ad-Aware is shit, use Spybot S&D
best bet is to re install, have AVG installed and spybot S&D
Might I ask how you CAN NOT remove the Antivirus 2010 virus? I'm kinda curious now, can't you just delete it + it's registry entries or something?
And yes, fresh Windows is my bet too. Maybe even Windows 7 if you can, since it's you know... more than 9 years newer than XP?
I suspect bad hardware if the machine is randomly turning off.

It's a fucking bitch, it's harder than you think.
And I would recommend as everyone else. Back up your important stuff, and reformat and reinstall.

What are you talking about? I said I blew it to Hell. I killed within 15 minutes.

MMM I WANNA KNOW ABOUT THAT TECHNOLOGY THIS IS NOT WEIRD AT ALL. But um, sleep mode doesn't turn your computer off, it just... turns off the screen and makes it stop being so noisy.
One thing you could do is chuck in the OS disk and do a repair and see if that fixes anything in-case it is a corrupted system file. The only other thing is to backup important things and format and reinstall your OS.

Wait, why did you quote me? I know that it doesn't turn off your computer, it puts in a hault.
can't malwarebytes in safemode fix this on easily
