'Foodstagrammers' aren't just annoying - they may have a psychological problem, says leading psychiatrist - Canadian expert says although trend is widespread it may hint at those who suffering with eating disorder http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-2321307/Foodstagrammers-arent-just-annoying--psychological-problem-says-leading-psychiatrist.html
Well that clears me of at least one mental illness
I know a lot of neckbeards use it, but this might be stretching it.
Seriously doubt it has any bigger effect on the person though.
I only have two or three pictures on instagram, I think two of them are food.
this just in: people who obsess and take pictures of their meals constantly may have an eating disorder i thought that anyone could deduce that from instagram food pics
Or people do it because it is fashion
Looked it up, have 6 pictures on instagram, three (or four depending on your taste) have food in them. [t]http://i.imgur.com/6WTZilY.png[/t]
Stupidest thing I've heard. My girlfriend does it because she likes the presentation of the food that's before her and she uploads it to instagram to share with her friends: Look how cool this food looks.
Everything is a mental illness.
No one's saying taking photos of food is a mental illness in itself
Woop my classmates are mentally ill I knew it

Most people do it because they think the food presentation looks really nice. Almost like art. Food presentation is an art form to many people, so what if they wanna share it. Now if it's a fucking popcorn sandwich they made and shared, THEN I'd consider this article to be true. I mean, what if you take pictures of clouds and share them? Does that you mean you have a... ...a.. CLOUD disorder...???... No, that's not right...
Good thing I'm too much white trash in that regard :v: I'd have eaten it all before those people would even start actually eating theirs.
Well I guess that means I'm in denial too. I'm fucked
If this is true, the youth of South Korea are in for tough times.

Hahahaha! People on my facebook do this ALL the time! One was even of a girl holding an icecream sunday while she was duckfacing and doing gangsigns.
Everything is a mental illness.
Here it is folks, the answer of all questions
Good thing I refuse to use Instagram
What a rebellious, truly superior independent man *nods*
It's a daily mail source, so I'm already skeptical. But in all likelihood, posting lots of pictures of food would be symptomatic of eating disorders. You might do it too, that's fine. It's not saying that if you post food you have an eating disorder, it's saying that some people who post food do have obsessions with food and eating disorders, even though the trend is widespread.
Good thing I refuse to use Instagram
I don't own a camera :v:
What's with all these daily mail articles posted here lately?
Well, i thought they were fucking stupid, but mentally ill?
As far as food goes I have: -A milk carton and drink can arranged to look like a barn & silo. -A can of Iced Tea with a sticky note reading [Insert Lunch Here] -An empty jug of Iced Tea (I drank it way too fast :v:) -A pizza box (it's not even a good pic, IDK why I posted it) -And a birthday cake for your dog.
I only have one photo of me cooking food during Easter, i fucking burnt it to though because i suck at this shit [t]http://distilleryimage8.s3.amazonaws.com/e8782b389c0b11e2a19522000a9f126b_7.jpg[/t]
I'm sorry, but... What's instagram?
I only take pictures of food that I've made
I'm sorry, but... What's instagram?
Instagram is a social network for smartphones that revolves entirely around taking pictures and adding fun filters to them. It's basically a circlejerk of white girls taking pictures of their Starbucks cups.
