I've been looking at getting some chilli extracts (not sauces, basically just extremely hot chili) and ive mainly been looking on http://www.hotsauceworld.com
Has anyone ever ordered anything from their chilli extracts section? (http://www.hotsauceworld.com/chili-pepper-extracts.html) I've been tossing up between these three:
http://www.hotsauceworld.com/satansblood.html (800,000 scoville units)

http://www.hotsauceworld.com/purecap.html (500,000 scoville units)

http://www.hotsauceworld.com/maddog22misp.html (2,000,000 scoville units :O)

The last one kind of worries me because there's no dropper and if you accidentally get too much on your food it's pretty much ruined because it'll be way too hot too eat.
Has anyone tried anything like these extracts? These are basically extremely hot spices, one drop is sufficient for a whole bowl of pasta. The reviews for them are pretty much "I HAD ONE DROP AND I DIED"
Buy that pepper from south america or somewhere that is banned in several countries because it can actually give your mouth chemical burns.
Hmm, Enjoy the morning after. Tabasco is okay for me, Not because it's hot enough, but because I <3 the taste.
I stick it up my bumm.
I will most likely get the pure cap now.
3rd ones a rip off.
The hottest chilli rates at just over 1,000,000 SU.

That isn't true. Pure capsaicin (the actual thing that makes chilli spicy) is 16 million scoville units.
Get this: http://www.hotsauceworld.com/maddog357pee.html
:supaburn:
That's basically the hottest version of the 3rd one I posted, and I've seen videos of people gasping for breath from trying pure cap which is 1/10th as hot as what you posted. No way I'm getting that, way too hot.

This, i did not know.
Thats some pretty hot stuff 0_o
Yeah the site I posted is selling a jar of it for 400 dollars. Don't know who in their right mind would buy it. It's too spicy for any food no matter what, and could probably kill someone if they had too much accidently.
What if you got some on your hands, and later, masturbated?
Also I am definitely going to get the pure cap now, 500,000 scoville units is enough for sure.

you'd be in a world of pain
I have a question.
Why?
I like to be able to taste my food
I dont get why people like chili in they're foods.
It completely ruins the taste since all you can taste is burning.

it depends how much you put in. stupid sauces like the ones in the first post are stupid. they add basically nothing other than the added heat, which is pretty pointless other than as a way for idiots to show off.
if you want to add chilli to your food, chop a chilli into it while you're cooking it.
some things like tabasco can be useful but ones like the OP are posting really can't be that useful in any proper cooking
Now this is pointless. Just use pepper spray
my uncle has a bottle of blair's 5am reserve, which comes in at 6 million SHU. I put a drop in a bowl of chilli once, the horror, my god make it stop.

Unless it's industrial, perhaps. I can't see any other use for it.
Someone should sell the last bottle as "Ball-itch remover"
You mean Ball remover.

Nothing is hotter than pure capsaicin which is mentioned in the OP already.

You could use it for suicide. :v:

They need to make tear gas with that.
those guys are idiots using water. they should use milk. every chemist knows that capsaicin is fat, not water soluble :smug:

He's retarded, pure cap isn't #26, It's #1,and the scoville isn't 500,000, it's 16,000,000.That site is just blatantly wrong or it's not pure cap.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scoville_scale
it's not pure capsaicin. that's just a brand name.
[editline]04:26PM[/editline]
if it was pure capsaicin, it'd be a deal since my chemical supply catalogue has capsiacin of greater than 95% purity listed at £277 for 1g
Get the maddog 357
