• Requesting a high detail/close up video of blood being taken
    4 replies, posted
I was wondering if someone had a video or a close up of blood being taken from a patient.. preferably the type where it goes into a vial.. not donating blood. I have resistive trypanophobia. Basically I go into a "RUN FOR YOUR LIFE" panic mode when I anticipate shots/blood being drawn and I'm literally trying to mentally strap myself to this chair and watch these types of videos. It's weird.. I get a pressure like feeling on my arm and I tend to randomly squirm when I talk about this or think about it or see it.. but I have to get over this. (Any other help would be appreciated)

Interesting choice of therapy to combat your fears. I tried doing the same with spiders in a box, but I ended up jumping through a window when my buddies locked the door.
My doctor said she would count to 3. She said "One...t-" then she did it, and I was all ":frogdowns: What" It was rather effective, hardly even twitched because I wasn't expecting it :v:
Getting blood taken isn't bad at all. I've had loads of needles in me from broken bones when they give me my "happy gas" :smugdog:
