EA have been doing their On The House promotion for a long time now. They started it a few months before Titanfall came out.
Wow.....might need to invest in clocks at your office instead of paying for shitty writers.
They've been doing this for a very long time. There are even articles on PCGamesN mentioning it before, such as this one: http://www.pcgamesn.com/play-pop-horticulture-landmark-plants-vs-zombies-now-free-origin Did no one bother to check if this was actually a new thing?
Its a good game though, even though I own the complete pack on Origin already EDIT: Apparently you can own two copies if you go through this. Yay I guess? :v:
it's like the articles get stuck in a server somewhere after they try to publish them
A clarification - Command and Conquer Red Alert 2 isn't the first free game in EA's On the House promotion. The first game was Dead Space in March, 2014. Kirk has been sent to the naughty corner and he will remain there until 4pm (GMT) tomorrow. He is very sorry.
I hope they put 2142 on there someday. Not really worth it anymore with the servers dead.
I hope they put 2142 on there someday. Not really worth it anymore with the servers dead.
I miss 2142 so much. And I never really got to enjoy it because I primarily played it at a friends, and by the time I got my hands on a copy it was pretty well dead.
I don't blame the writer as much as I blame the editors tbh Don't writers usually present an article to an editor and they get the final say as to whether it's published or not?
I have RA2 and YR on disc so this is a nice way to have a backup
I have RA2 and YR on disc so this is a nice way to have a backup
I have C&C The First Decade, the compilation with all the games 'updated to work on modern systems' that is now itself so old that some of the games no longer work on modern systems
I have C&C The First Decade, the compilation with all the games 'updated to work on modern systems' that is now itself so old that some of the games no longer work on modern systems
Way I heard it, half of those games had major issues working on newer systems at launch.
Woot RA2 and YR is free on origin and I never know :S , A chance there is no timer :D
Woot RA2 and YR is free on origin and I never know :S , A chance there is no timer :D
Technically there is, you have to redeem it before it goes away. But afterwards you can keep it.

and it's working for me... missing out on full free games just because you refuse to download a shittier steam is silly.
