There was a second?
That looks.. Good. Well nothing stops me from looking into it once its released, i liked the Port update where you can build ships and own a harbor port.
There was a second?
Usually there's some major gameplay change when it comes to major versions. RS1 was the one many of us knew and loved back in elementary schools. There was a stamina feature that required sleep to recover and a CAPTCHA to wake up. RS2 was when it went all 3D, simple polygons, removed sleep, and other things. And the famous door login screen. Feeling somewhat optimistic about this version.
Honestly i am glad they did not renamed it "Runescape 2" when the new one was out, would somehow not make such sense.
Runescape 3... I hope they come up with a more clever name than that.
Runescape 3... I hope they come up with a more clever name than that.
It's still going to be called plain RuneScape. Always was (if you exclude when it was just a MUD), always will be until Jagex abandons it.
I remember playing a fair bit of Runescape 2 back in the day; it looked pretty primitive in regards to other 3D titles of the day, but this was back when 3D in browsers was probably a new and emerging thing. I didn't care; as a kid I was pretty into it, though I never went premium, I just strolled about as a wizard making the most of my time. Come to think of it, it was probably my first MMO experience, before I dipped into WoW for a few months. I forget when I stopped; musta been around 2005/2006. How much has changed since then? Also, I think one of my college tutors was once part of Jagex; Graham Chalk was his name if I remember. I haven't seen him for ages, but I think he's still teaching at NESCOT.
I don't think I could ever move on from Runescape 2 and jump to a new one. We'll see, when they start releasing more information.
I don't think I could ever move on from Runescape 2 and jump to a new one. We'll see, when they start releasing more information.
I doubt that you have a choice.
I'd like it if Runescape 3 were less tile-based but it appears that isn't the case. Retaining the same gameplay I guess.
Runescape 3... I hope they come up with a more clever name than that.
would you prefer it to be named ~Run3Scape~? i sure as hell wouldnt
I've always liked checking into Runescape every now and then
Runescape 3... I hope they come up with a more clever name than that.
Runescape 3, the search for Runescape 2?
runescape is a really fun game i have 2 characters that are members even!
I ain't using this if it requires me to abandon the good ol' midi music.
WASD support maybe?
There was a second?
Runescape classic is the first one, runescape 2 is the one we have now.
I haven't played Runescape in years. I might try it out after this update
Pretty sure I'm still permabanned.
pls give WASD controlling.
Can't wait for the 10-hour woodcutting grinds! BRING IT ON!!!!
Runescape 3... I hope they come up with a more clever name than that.
I hope they come up with better combat instead.

Shits changed a lot since I last played it... almost 10 years ago

"Runescape, now in the Crytek 3 engine." [editline]22nd March 2013[/editline]
None of you seem to understand. RuneScape 3 is just a new client that is much more effective. Same content, same characters, same communities. If Facebook used the Jagex naming system, Timeline would be Facebook 2. All that is changing is how you access the game.
Uh, actually a lot of people understand. :v:

It's a new client yeah, but RuneScape 3 is going to continue adding more things aside from that.
