I mean, 2nd game in and my and my friend finished 1st, he got 5 kills I believe and I got 4, quite pleased with the end result, especially when we ended up having the last bit of cover in the final area and everyone was trying to rush it but dying in the process.

Wrong thread?
You can come in second without firing a shot sooooo
And I've seen screenshots of people winning with 0 kills soooooooooooooo
Still pretty impressive considering the delay and it seems to be running the fucking anarchy system

You're right, even until the very end the best way to play is to avoid people while remaining in the zone, the less chance you have of getting shot the better.

So what's your point? That actually being put in danger is less impressive because you can win by simply not playing the game and avoiding people?

basically i found the game literally amounts to one giant RNG when it comes to likelihood to encounter other players, get loot, or even land a shot, so losing (or even winning) any given fight just feels like dumb luck, the only consistent way to do well is by trying to avoid literally everyone, so yeah.
Well that sounds ridiculous, I wouldn't call it dumb luck to win a 2v2 fight when they're actually shooting at us and us back at them and we win, I mean thanks for making it seem like the win me and my friend had was a load of shit though, I appreciate it.
Me and my squad got a chicken dinner without any of us firing a single shot.

Congratulations for winning a round of PUBG. We are all very impressed. No one was meaning to belittle your achievements.

You only play solo? Duo? Squad?
Sure there are times I feel jew'd by bad luck, but 9/10 times I can look back on mistakes that I made that got me killed.
Playing with 3 others can seriously affect your odds if you actually care to employ tactics with even the worst gear.. No, running a rat-pack hardly counts as strategy.
