i was gonna buy the hardware to do eyefinity tomorrow but the dell monitor i have is out of stock everywhere :rage: so i dont have to slit my wrist can anyone suggest a monitor that is the same size, resolution, and has roughly the same size bezel? the p2310h has displayport so that isnt a requirement
pictures of the dell are on there website http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/products/Displays/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=bsd&cs=04&sku=320-8325 would order there but it says 3 weeks + for delivery on the euro site :(
I have three P2310H's and I'd say they are worth the wait.
I looked around for a long time to find some decent monitors suitable for eyefinity. Sadly, the market isn't great for you or I.
On the high end you have expensive professional panels, some with IPS panels (makes monitor-junkies cream their pants ), clean lines, small bezels, and of course, a wide range of input options.
On the low end you have the cheaper displays which are generally a poor choice for Eyefinity. They feature large, glossy (ugh!) bezels, speakers, most cannot be adjusted that much, and the resolution isn't always proportional to the size of the screen.
The P2310H sits almost square in the middle of that range (in the sweet spot?). It isn't as unnecessarily expensive as higher-end IPS panels, but it still has the small bezels, reserved appearance, and great flexibility and specs that higher range models do.
If you really can't wait, I'd suggest searching on this list...
