• Streaming software to use on Directx 8 games?

Procaster doesn't support Silent Hill 2 as one of it's DX8 games and my friend is trying to stream it on livestream. Is there any software that supports DX8 streaming? If there is, your knowledge will be greatly appreciated.
blah, nevermind if you're playing the game in windowed mode, you can try using the desktop setting
Even Directx 7 - I wanna stream so Blair Witch II [editline]31st July 2011[/editline] Yeah, my friends processor apparently can't handle streaming the desktop + game so that's not an option. But for some games that can't be played in windowed mode, that is also an issue.

Thanks a lot. We'll try it out later tonight.
Oh, that's for recording. Useful if I want to record Directx 8 and 7 games but not for streaming.

Don't use a webcam.
Don't use a webcam.
If only  still existed.
Don't use a webcam.
You misunderstand. It will show the stream as a webcam to your system. hence it can be treated like a webcam (and streamed like one). To put it super-simple. When you see a friend on webcam you see them in their video feed box. Now imagine that but instead of showing images from an actual webcam it's showing the video game. You DON'T need a webcam to do this. The on created is entirely virtual.
