How about you make more Castlevania games in the vein of the original four?
How about you make more Castlevania games in the vein of the original four?
I doubt we will ever see any 2D castlevanias ever again. They haven't even finished the original timeline. This is rebooted.

It was Symphony of the Night which defined the series and made the gameplay so iconic. Also this game is true to that and is actually a 2.5D game, which plays like the old ones but looks 3D.

It completely threw the original gameplay formula out the window and honestly I think it is extremely overrated. Also original castlevania games nothing that special? You don't know shit then lol.

(It became the new Castlevania, the new standart like Metal Gear SOLID to the Metal Gear Series) The first Castlevanias were in my opinion just some more sidescrollers on an already oversaturated market like Rygar, Strider, etc. the only one I really enjoyed back then was Super Castlevania IV and compared to now, it's not as special or as important to the series and development future games like SotN was. Sorry if I offended someone by saying it was nothing special but there is some truth in my statement.

The portable castlevania games are some of my favorites ever (circle of the moon and order of ecclesia <3), so the thought of them making this in HD initially is irritating. The other titles felt extremely crafted to take advantage of the portable systems with excellent graphics, here I feel like they sacrificed quality by not rendering it specifically for the 3ds. That said I wouldn't mind a wii u release, as for ps3 and 360 playing these games without a second screen at this point sounds mind boggling.
