I literally have no idea where else to put this but I need some advice because I don't want this to fuck with me.

This is Kitty. A few months ago she appeared in my apartments parking lot with a sister cat and my mom suddenly fell in love with the duo. We already have 2 cats otherwise I'm sure we would of tried adopting one of em at the least. I kinda wrote them off as just strays but whatever. Suddenly the other cat (Kat) stopped showing up so we kinda figured it's uh... gone. What I didn't know though was my mom has been feeding Kitty despite me telling her not to. Now this cat hangs out 24/7 under a broken down car and my mom looks after it food wise. We've done good about not attracting any other cats however so I guess there's that.
This cat is still jumpy around people but for some reason it fully trusts me and my mom- to the point I was able to pick it up and pet it. We've been looking for a no-kill shelter for it but we keep getting turned down at places for this reason or that and it's been annoying. Now though a real problem happened as we noticed she's getting fatter. You guessed it.

Babies have happened and now they're under the car with her too. I gave them each nicknames just to identify them (Dumplin and Nibbles) and been trying harder to locate a shelter for them as these cats love people. Like a lot. Like I just walked outside and Nibbles (the little gray one) is sitting out on the sidewalk at 12:00AM wanting to be held. This is insanely dangerous and I can't exactly let them into my apartment (and none of the other tenants really want them either (though everyones pitching in to feed them now so it's a community thing) and I'm stressing out that something bad's going to happen.
Can I get some advice because I've been dragged into some kind of cat rabbit hole. Like I said the apartment tenants with us are buying food and leaving it at our doorstep to go give the cats (and neighbor has tried sending me a few shelter places) but none of us can find them a home.
Have you tried putting an ad in the paper perhaps? I recall once my family had to find homes for multiple kittens our cat had produced, so my Dad just put an ad out in the paper saying "Hey free cats here". Pretty soon our house was getting constant visits and before we knew it all kittens had been collected by multiple families and taken to their own homes.
Worth a shot I say.

Haven't tried it, but as you said it's worth a shot. Will have to look into it in the morning.
It's hard OP but don't take them to a shelter
The mother will be put down and unless someone takes in the kittens they will be killed too but there is no way of knowing whether or not that will happen.
It's best if everyone at your apartment keeps feeding them, I'm sorry.

I just wanted to throw my two cents in but one of my cats happened to be a stray, we adopted him and neutered him and I couldn't imagine not having him. He's a fantastic boy. I'm sure someone would love to take the mom and her two kittens in, they're all so beautiful.
I vouch for the ad idea, hell maybe even craig's list maybe? That's how my girlfriend found her one dog.
If you call animal control they'll probably spay it and put it up for adoption, though shelters tend to euthanize cats that dont get adopted after a month or so.
Put an ad in the paper, on craig's list (be careful who responds), or find a foster home for the cats.
Just be careful if you put an ad for them anywhere, careful as in to who responds to your ad. In my area a while ago some fella did that with like half a dozen puppies and the person who took them ended up bashing every single one of them. Only one survived.

Wow
I hope there is a special place of torment in the deepest darkest part of hell for people like that
My sister adopted some kittens a while back, someome just left them in a box near the main road. A car hit the box, most died. Only two made it.
People are horrible.
Although in terms of animal cruelty I'm not a vegetarian so I won't act like I'm a saint.

The bloke got charged, shamed by the media and pretty sure his house got severely vandalised. People were leaving notes around town with his address on it.
Awesome
I remember there was this video of a russian, beating this dog his girlfriend bought him (she left him, he uploaded it as revenge)
people tracked him down and brtually beat him, videotaped it; he was crying by the end of it. Was fantastic. I got no sympathy for those people, less than human.
Waiting to hear a response from some folks but... I think Dumplin's gone. The little white fuzzball has just up and vanished over the past day and the little gray one's been wandering to different ends of the parking lot mewling looking for him (I'm assuming).
Man I feel heartbroken.
To (hopefully) close this out found someone who's going to at the very least adopt Nibbles in the next day or so and raise him to be a farm cat.
Still no sign of Dumplin' though.
