you can't stop sites like this, you take one down, another one pops up.
Perhaps if they didn't charge us out of the ass for a shitty internet connection people would use their money to legitimately purchase these things.
Perhaps if they didn't charge us out of the ass for a shitty internet connection people would use their money to legitimately purchase these things.
BT doesn't want to do it.
I love Newzbin. I remember the first few times it went down. It seems to get shot down a lot lol. They always come back a few days to a month later.
I can't decide if the bbc newsbot just linked warez on facepunch or not
Perhaps if they didn't charge us out of the ass for a shitty internet connection people would use their money to legitimately purchase these things.
Agreed. It costs me £40 a month for 150GB allowance. My friend works at a data centre in Manchester and they only pay £3 for 1TB of bandwidth. We are being majorly assfucked by our ISP's.
That's nothing. I pay about £60 a month for 500kb/s dl, 25b/s upload. What's worth, 18GB a month allowance. 18 :suicide:
Agreed. Screw internet censorship. If someone wants to put links up to content that someone else has bought, then so be it. They make well over enough money anyway. Corporations need to learn to go do one when it comes to effecting peoples rights and liberty's.
"Cut off the head, and two more shall take it's place!"
Im not sure where the majority of facepunch lives, but here in england you can get 30mbits for £15 a month on virgin media. Do you like, live in Iran? Because those are some horrifically shitty deals that I've never seen or heard of outside of facepunch
isnt this like, very useless since there are a shitton of alternatives?
I feel bad because we pay $30 a month and get 2mb/s down and 500kb/s up with no cap. [editline]27th July 2011[/editline] and my ISP doesnt care if we torrent. [editline]27th July 2011[/editline] or host servers.
I pay $40 and get 3 mbits down, .50mbits up no cap and my ISP doesnt care if we torrent. Edited: or host servers.
wtf isp is this I think we pay like £20 and get uncapped 16 meg from BT :/
Karoo (Kingston Communications) they're the communication HUB for my city, they've locked out all other ISP's. I get a 15mbps, 150GB bandwidth limit (but it turns unlimited between midnight and 8AM).
you can't stop sites like this, you take one down, another one pops up.
Or, in this case, the site comes back from the dead to take the ISP that took them down down.
God damnit. http://www.break.com/index/fox-29-reporter-attacked-live-on-air-2088128
A High Court judge has ruled that BT must block access to a website which provides links to pirated movies.

I pay $40 and get 3 mbits down, .50mbits up no cap and my ISP doesnt care if we torrent. Edited: or host servers.
I pay €35 and get 25 mbits down, 1.5 mbits up no cap. and my ISP doesn't give a shit either.
