Dont drift off to sleep like i did, when you wake up and relise you only have a little time left you will shit brix
I wish I was ever worried about exams. Would have probably made me actually revise
Do you want study tips or test-taking tips? Because I have both. My advice might be shit, however. I only got a 2320 on the SAT.
Ive spent the last 2 weeks non stop studying,so just test taking.
You are going to die. [editline]02:14AM[/editline] Of FUN!

Rule 1: Only study for small periods of time. If you do too much studying you'll get frustrated while taking the exam ,and occasionally fuck up ,and think of something totally unrelated.
Ive spent the last 2 weeks non stop studying,so just test taking.
General pre-test stuff

Wear clothes that you can regulate the temperature of - for example, T-shirt under a sweatshirt. If you get hot, pull off the sweatshirt. If you get cold, vice versa.
Get a good night's sleep beforehand. I can't stress this enough. If you need to be at the test center at 8 AM, go to bed at 8 PM. Take some melatonin or something to fall asleep.
Eat a good breakfast the day of the test.
Bring a watch so you can see how you're doing on time.
Taking the test

Stay calm. Tell yourself that you know the material and will ace this test.
If you're having trouble with a question, don't stay and stare at it. You'll end up wasting time, and you often need all the time you can get. Never be afraid to come back later for it.
Every 2 or 3 questions, make sure you haven't skipped a line on the answer sheet (marking the answer for question 24 on line 23, for example). If you fucked this up, you'll need to go all the way back and change your answers. You're fucked if this happens.
Go with your first instinct if you're indecisive about answers. Don't overthink things.
Take advantage of breaks between sections, if you get them. Get up and stretch your legs a bit. Take a few deep breaths. It's all about staying calm and in charge.
If you finish a section before time is called, go over your answers and make sure you didn't make any stupid mistakes.
Good luck. Some of my best studying has been done in Red Bull- and cigarette-fueled 12-hour marathon sessions.
Snort adderall till you can't feel your face, then hit the fucking books.
I've got a Drama exam, and i get extreme stage fright :( Anytips on that?
Coffee or energy drinks containing caffeine [editline]06:45AM[/editline] Or snort some subutex.
Coffee or energy drinks containing caffeine [editline]06:45AM[/editline] Or snort some subutex.
Actually apples are better than caffeine just pointing that out. Besides that I have a chemistry test tommarow also and I'm still studying.
don't sit around if you finish early go back and check your answers
I have an Advanced Higher Maths prelim today that I haven't revised for. I don't even care anymore :saddowns:
A chocolate bar 30min before the exam. Your brain runs on sugar afterall. [editline]12:18AM[/editline] Oh and i got buttraped by my Dynamics exam 2 days ago... :saddowns:
Do you want study tips or test-taking tips? Because I have both. My advice might be shit, however. I only got a 2320 on the SAT.
2320... out of 2400? what are you, a mofucking genius?
Just relax... I'm very calm during tests, Just try and think like you know the answers already. [editline]05:10PM[/editline] ^ wow
Fucking study your ass off.
Get off the internet.
Whatever you do, keep your mind as calm as possible. Just had my chem exam today and I did very well.
cheat
Convince yourself that you're awesome and that you can tackle anything and everything that they throw at you. [editline]06:47PM[/editline] And if you fuck up, convince yourself that the result of the exam isn't important.

Go with your first instinct if you're indecisive about answers. Don't overthink things.

This There is another good reason to do this and that's to not feel "oh fucking shit" when finding out you had the correct answer but changed it been there

I think I've done ok. And remember to have you candidate number and card.
Not long got back from my Chemistry. General was really easy, Credit was pretty damn tough D: Also I totally aced all the English exams both 1's I reckon  Although Maths on Wednesday, gonna fail credit :v: also I find the best way to study is to do past papers and look up anything you can't do. Also check them as you along with a marking scheme, to make sure you're doing it right.
If there are any essay questions, draw Pokemon on them. That's what I do.
