The term patent troll has been around longer than the internet, commonly used for the description of a person or company who buys and enforces patents against "alleged infringer" in a manner considered unduly aggressive or opportunistic, often with no intention to further develop, manufacture or market the patented invention.
It's a quick money scheme and its god damn patheticly filthy, anyone who does it needs their ass handing to them.
