What was the last video game you bought at a physical store and when?

Battlefield 4 for PC back in 2013. For the last console I had, Xbox 360, it was Halo 4 in 2012.
The only physical copies of games I got were gifts. I straight up have never bought a physical game with my money ever.
i think it was shift 2: unleashed for the xbox 360 around 2011
i loved it
I still buy physical games because consoles are for physical, PC for digital.
Def can agree with this. As much as I like my steam downloads there's nothing like picking up a game on your way back from town and getting instant gratification when you get home.
silent hill hd collection
wasn't even for me fuck
Flight Simulator X: Steam edition because it was $5 in the clearance section at Walmart somewhere in July last year.

Day one patches today though.
Bloodborne, not bad though I overpaid on the PS4 cause I didn't feel like waiting, blegh.
The Orange Box back in 2008. I had a $60 gift card for Best Buy courtesy of a GPT site, mostly due to Steam Gift Cards not being available at the time. It was a pleasant trip aside from the fact that my mother's boyfriend tagged along as he was looking for an MP3 player. I had lunch at the nearby Wendy's afterwards.
Wolfenstein TNC, because after exchange rates, getting the steelbook was actually cheaper than Steam
I bought Freakyforms Deluxe for the 3DS for $7 at GameStop. This was just after someone made "freakyhax" which is a QR-code homebrew exploit that allows you to run homebrew shit on the 3DS. :v:
The game was like $50 on ebay at the time.
L.A. Noire for the Switch. Pretty much all of my recent physical purchases have been Switch-games. Love me some cartridges.
Pokemon X, back on INTENDED release date
Probably Battlefield 1 from a store as it was on sale about a year and a bit ago. Before that I don't think I've bought a physical game copy for ~5 years, all been digital.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 collector's edition about a month ago.
I usually buy my games physical, much prefer it over digital. I especially look out for special boxes like steelbooks or lenticular ones.
FarCry 4 whenever that came out.
I got Dragon Ball FighterZ for PS4 on Day 1, this was just a few days ago
I think it was Portal 2 since it's the only x360 game I remember buying in 2011.
DOOM for Switch like a month ago.
Switch games are rarely on sale and I like having a physical library for my consoles.
I think Gears of War 2 on 360. I really miss buying physical copies. You don't get that fresh new game smell with digital.
Got Ico/Shadow of the Colossus HD on the PS3 for christmas, before that I got MGS4 and the MGS HD collection preowned for 20$ myself as birthday presents
edit: oh and Dark Souls on the PS3 for christmas too
I got a gift card at gamestop that I used to buy a steam card with a week ago or so if it counts.
Breath of the Wild Explorer's Edition on Black Friday. Found one scattered in with the DVDs after all the madness died down.
Pre-ordered Shadow of Mordor at the store I worked at at the time. Have yet to actually start it up for the first time.
pokemon omega ruby a few years ago
It was sometime in 2014 or 2015 and I got Alpha Sapphire in GAME
bought Skyrim for PC on the release date because of the physical world map you got with it.
Lost Odyssey one week ago.
I buy retro games at conventions. I got a bunch at magfest this year. Does that count?
Bought a used copy of dark souls 3 at a local place about 4 hours ago.
I pre-ordered The Sims 3 for the PC (~2009 I think), what a mistake that was.
