Doesn't have to be a giant critique, just something more than "they suck". All you need is; - Band Name - Genre - 2-3 Songs for the person to sample I'll start first; Mother Mother Indie/Alternative Rock "Arms Tonite" "Ghosting" "Wrecking Ball"
I liked them a lot actually. Surprising, considering I'm usually very stubborn. Nice! Wavves Punk/Surf/Noise Rock "Take On The World" "Mickey Mouse" "Beach Demon"
Their songs sound nice, Beach Demon in particular sounds like the kind of music I'd pump out to annoy everyone. Skálmöld Viking/Folk Metal "Kvaðning" "Óðinn" "Að hausti"
Sounds better to me than the last time I listened to them when Baldur first came out. Didn't know they made two more albums since then, I'll check those out! Casualties of Cool Blues/Country/Ambience Flight Bones Deathscope
They're not really up my alley. I don't think they're terrible, I even like the last song. Just not my style. Eluveitie Folk Metal a Rose for Epona King Thousandfold
Though I'm not a huge fan of screamo metal like this, especially folk metal, this is pretty badass. The guitars really synch up well with the vocals. I also like how there's more than just guitar, bass and drums, there's a whole variety of instruments being used, example in the song "Thousandfold" and it sounds fantastic. I'm digging that flute or whatever the specific name of it is. You can defintely hear the different layers of the instruments blend together into this harsh, raw sound. Only problem is that I can barely hear the violin in some of the songs, it sounds almost non-existent. All in all I could probably listen to these guys while playing Killing Floor or just chilling out, good find dude. Tiger Jaws Emo, indie rock, pop punk I Saw Water Heat Between Your Band and the Other Band
I like the music but I'm not a fan of the vocals. I don't like super whiny nasal vocals, but I like the guitars. Between Your Band and the Other Band was my favourite track of the 3 posted, Heat was short but I also liked it. Sinking Teeth Punk Rock, Alternate The Sexy Mates Temporary Living White Water
I quite liked it. I enjoyed the sound and dynamics. I could see this band being part of my playlist. Tobaxxo Lipstick Destroyer Sweatmother https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYc273hUBJ8 Lamborghini Meltdown
Its not too bad actually, the names threw me off a little but i was surprised. Never heard of them though. The Story So Far Pop-Punk The Glass Quicksand Daughters
I quite liked those songs. Gotta listen to more of them. XTC New wave, alternative rock This is Pop The Mayor of Simpleton Ballet for a Rainy Day/1000 Umbrellas They also did psychedelic rock as "The Dukes of Stratosphear" 25 O Clock My Love Explodes
They're alright, just not really my thing. Though I liked that 3rd one you posted a lot. The Hives. Garage Punk (Their really early stuff), Post-Punk Revival A.K.A. I-D-I-O-T (Barley Legal, their really early stuff) Two-Timing Touch and Broken Bones (Tyrannosaurus Hives) You Dress Up for Armageddon (Black and White Album)
I really like them on the instrumental side of things, and even "You Dress Up For Armageddon" in terms of how they sound lyrically. Aurelio Voltaire (technically a musician but w/e) Dark Cabaret, Soft Rock, Folk (and probably a lot more I'm missing) When You're Evil Straight Razor Cabaret Beast of Pirate's Bay
Voltaire is fucking amazing. Been a fan for years now. I really love his sound and how it's all traditional instruments, it really compliments his voice. Beast of Pirate's bay has to be one of my favorite's from him, it's got a bit of everything you'd want in a Voltaire song. The Protomen I dunno how to define their genre, it's rock obviously, but it's all over the place. If 80s was a genre they'd be that mostly. Breaking Out The Will of One Mr. Roboto (Yeah it's a cover I know, still counts)
