So my computer went on a little road trip a few days ago (restrained of course) and only today did I reassemble everything. But now whenever I turn on my monitor, it tells me that it can't get a DVI signal despite the cable being plugged in. I've tried blowing dust out, pushing the cables in so they work, and giving the inside of my PC tower a spraydown of compressed air. Nothing worked.
I've been suggested to readjust the GPU, but it's bolted down and unlikely to go anywhere. And since the monitor shuts itself off I can't change the video input (there's a VGA cable plugged in too).
Is there something I'm not doing right?
Reseat everything even if you think it's down tight. Especially GPU and RAM.

In the process of taking out the GPU, I had forgotten that it too had a DVI input. I had been trying to plug it into the motherboard this whole time.

Haha. I did the same exact thing while trying to connect my Asus monitor to my PC.
