Windows Vista Always Changing Resolution on login screen at boot up.

Title basically says it all.
Windows always seems to reset its resolution to the last resolution used. Meaning, that if I play TF2, which i run it at 1280 x 720, then when I restart my pc, lock it, or simply log off. Windows resets my desktop res from 1440 x 900 to 1280 x 720.
It is really annoying, any help on this?
Try running tf2 on 1440 x 900. May fix it.

Ok, but then I will get shitty FPS on tf2 0.-
So you're saying Windows reverts to your monitor's native resolution?
I believe it's supposed to do that.

No, his monitor reverts back to the resolution used with TF2.
I have the same problem. But I don't play TF2 that often and my screens native resolution is 1280 x 800, or known as, the highest.
